Talking nineteen to the dozen =)
I have been so immersed in manga-reading (and re-reading) lately that I had spent less time on the Net. The other day some of my friends tried to persuade me to watch the anime Naruto but somehow I still very much prefer the manga version. I got the impression that they didn’t quite get why I would fancy a non-moving, black-and-white form of entertainment over a, well, moving and coloured one, and hey, I myself am currently contemplating on that subject too… at any rate I’ve always found reading an extremely enjoyable activity. Not to say that I don’t enjoy movies (I know practically every movie under the sun… ok, not. Hehe) but if, say, a movie is based on a book and I have read that book, by some means I would always find the book much more satisfying and compelling as judged against the movie version (Well, The Lord of The Rings are an exception, they are darn good;p).
Anyways… a parcel from my parents arrived on Thursday which totally made my day (thanks Mak and Abah!). Although some of my requested stuff were missing (or incorrectly sent- like the Carera pens, I specifically stated model B-7, not B-8, Bob, and Reporter. hehe) but it didn’t really matter- all the food stuff more than made up for it =) But what’s this- ‘The Exorcism of Emily Rose’ DVD?! You know I do NOT watch horror movies, Abah! *sigh* It didn’t prevent the girls from flocking to my room to watch it though (whilst I parked myself on my bed reading mangas) but unfortunately for them, the cd was spoiled halfway into the story (“hantu baru je nak keluar”, according to them). Oh well. These things happen ;p
I know I’m a bore… it must be the weather. Hehehe. A lovely thing to note though- today it snowed! Awesome.

Last sekali AKi nok pesan, awok jgn asyik baca buku yg tak berkenaan pelajaran awok tu yek? Buku2 manga tu sampai awok ulang-kaji tu, penting sungguh AKi tengok dalam ilmu perubatan yek sampai awok read and re-read!

hehe, tokki andak ni mak jugak kan, ngaku je la... hahaha. re-read tu bukan maknenye bace pastu ulang2, that means I read the stuff that I have long read back in Malaysia... mak jangaan, kak sarah pun mintak dr Fi nk bace, die boring... haha. Abah, I'm fine, but Cold with a big, fat capital C. Even my beloved boots tak dpt menghalang kesejukan sampai ke tuberositas phalangis distalis. Brrr!

Oh yeah Azra, I do read though am not a die-hard fan ;) My favourites are Detective Q, Kindaichi, One Piece, Naruto, Fullmetal Alchemist, Fullmetal Panic, and currently discovering Bleach (not discover la actually, but only got round to read it). And I still read Dragonball back home =)
I saw "Exorcism of Emily Rose" and thought it was superb. It's a different kind of horor movie. You can close your eyes when it comes to the horrible scenes, but follow the court room arguments...splendid !!
BTW, nice paperweight you have there. Reminds me of the Dolphin Show in Thailand. ;))
Hehe! Kindaichi and Bleach are my favorite manga. But lately, I'm addicted to Death Notes - it's really fun to read especially to those who loves eeries and creepy element in manga. XD

Oh oh!! We can truly be sisters in manga fandom! Heheh.. I LOVE manga, I really do. And yeah, I usually prefer manga over the anime of the same title, ditto with books and adapted movies. Have you read a manga titled "Team Medical Dragon"? Really good... pretty much about a genius surgeon and the corruption happening in the medical profession (and it helps that the surgeon is an eye-candy.. heheh). Have fun with those manga okay!!
P.S. I don't like horror movies either.. except IT.

Pycnogenol- If I cover my eyes, I will have to cover my ears too =) So watching horror flicks is like, out of the question for me ;(
Azra- Death Note's great in the beginning, but I kind of lost interest after L died. Talk about anti-climax U_U
Ayumi- Sisters?? I think you'll be my sensei, more like ;) I have heard of 'Team Medical Dragon' but haven't had a chance to read it. Well, well...now I have yet another to add to my reading list ;p Thanks for the recommendation =)

I second ayumi's opinion on Team Medical Dragon. It's great! Wouldn't it be awesome if we could be that kind of surgeon or doctor?

Ayumi n Hiyoshi- I couldn't get hold on Team Medical Dragon yet because of the super-expensive internet here and nobody here seem to have it! Argh.
Crimsonskye- I've been sucked since primary school and I don't plan to get out of it =p And yeah, the weather is indeed extremely harsh, especially at night. Makes for good excuse not to study and drift to slumberland instead =)
Haha, I must be the only Malaysian (okay, M'sian teenager lah) who isn't remotely interested in anime or manga. I think we used to own some Doraemon comics, but beyond that... I dunno, just tak minat lah.
Can't say the same about my brothers, though. I don't know how many episodes of Naruto they've watched. ^^
I don't watch horror movies either, call me a scaredy cat. :P Oh oh, and I haven't watched any of the LotR movies from start to finish. I think the first or second movie, I watched a teeny little bit ... and then I fell asleep. xD They're so long!

Snow reminds me so much of Edinburgh, Scotland.
It is wonderfully COLD...and I'm missing the snow so much now. Believe me iFos, you'll say the same thing too when you're back in Malaysia for good.
"Enjoy" the snow for now...remember to keep yourself WARM, though I know that's not easy to do.

'Ikat telinga'- that's to express how much two persons have in common about certain subjects, that you can just tie 'em up together ;)
I really liked Takeshi Obata's style of drawing in Deathnote though, as also in Hikaru No Go, which is another truly awesome piece of manga =D
