Hong Kong: Towering Facade

In all simplicity, Hong Kong was the exact opposite of Istanbul. Cloud-busting skyscrapers, blinding neon lights, whooshing pedestrians on zigzagging streets... the faces of the two cities couldn't be more different. Yet they shared one common point of gravity- both were breathtakingly beautiful, in very contrasting fashions. And I was one happy traveler.

ps: All pictures were taken late evening, save the panorama in the middle- it was afternoon, after a heavy downpour.
pps: Pardon my lazy writing.

menarik sungguh. nice collection with stunning pic of high rise buildings. the panorama would have been better with a blue sky however there is the time factor to consider.

hope can go there one day. ;)

f_r_a_s- I don't know if I deserved such high praises, but thanks all the same! do I know you?

sofie nur- thanks! Visited your blog and you've got some very nice pics yourself ;)

ajeleen(???)- I found out thru some research prior to my trip that Hong Kong terdiri drp 250++ buah pulau!! Never knew that before! Haha. Biggest island ialah Lantau Island, di mana terletaknya airport dan Disneyland, amongst other things (cos 2 tempat tu je yg ktrg pegi kat situ. heh). Second biggest island ialah Hong Kong Island, di mana terletaknya Victoria Peak, iaitu lokasi penangkapan gambar panorama in the collage. We stayed in Kowloon, which was part of the mainland, north of Hong Kong island.

Eh terbebel panjang pula.. Tak payah buat travel entry dah la kot. Heheh.
