Something(s) to celebrate

Happy birthday to my mother- may Allah grant you strength and courage and may you always be under His blessings and protection.

And Happy New Year to my Chinese friends- had a great 'Reunion' Dinner last night ;)

As for Russians, today is the 'Forgiveness Sunday', the last day of Pancake Week to celebrate the end of winter.

Me, I didn't sleep at all last night. It's been a long time since I did that...

... Ok, that is not something to be celebrated. I'm going to sleep now. Good day.

oh, honey, not sleeping is never a good thing. A case of insomnia ke ape ni? Try emptying your mind while trying to sleep. That's what I usually do. Don't think about anything and baca doa sebelum tidur and ayat kursi.

Wah, have you read pycno's latest entry? He dedicated the whole entry to your mom! :-)

Happy Birthday to Mak too. She celebrated at the hospital with the family in KL.

You should sleep at least 4 hours perday. anyway i have not been sleeping well too after the op. have been having nightmares almost every night, maybe due to the medication given or maybe for some other reasons.

salam to kak sarah. both of you take care of yourself and study hard. jagan lupa baca Quran.

i noticed the jagan=jangan.

both of you are always in my heart.

abah.

opie,

we had a great party celebrating your mum's birthday. as the ward room is pretty spacious, we had balloons, cakes, plenty of fruits, flowers, food and drinks. the best was the brain juice. ask your abah what it is. almost everyone - family, friends and bloggers - was around celebrating... the only thing missing was a clown.

you and sarah take care... love, ateh, auntie intan, danial, mikhail & amira

Jalilah- Rest assured, I did NOT have difficulties in sleeping. My condition is due to some other inexplicable syndrome, one that is very diffcult to cure. hehe. No worries.

Abah- I didn't even notice the 'jagan'. Heh. Glad to hear you're recovering well =)

Ateh- wow... wish I was there ;/

Fi,

Ateh must be hallucinating. Perhaps he must have accidentally inhaled abah's anaesthetic gas and imagined the celebation.

Take care Fi.

p.s. Allah has given me an important lesson in life on my 45th birthday

Pancake Week sounds tantalising. I imagine real pancakes are involved?

It is important to remember to forgive oneself, even if you've forgotten to have a single pancake during the pancake week. ;)

Nighmares almost every night??? I also heard that from the nurse that the instruments went crazy beep beep at night and that must be the time your star fleet were attacked and tak cukup jari nak sorok fleet.
