I don't know why, I couldn't seem to upload more pictures in the previous entry. Never mind, here's more of 'em~
A train passing by one late afternoon, as seen from my bedroom window
A view of a building near my hostel on a cloudy morning
Sunrise from my window
Some stylish Russian ladies (and there were loads and loads of them) on the street
Kids eating ice cream at a bus stop *Russian toddlers are the cutest and friendliest creatures on earth!*
Taming two birds with one picture!
A wild flower in front of my hostel
It's a comfort to know that I can be in touch with home via the internet easily here, thank God for that. Other than the less-than-desirable toilets and too-many-stairs-to-climb campus building, I'm not complaining ;) And once again, good day to all!
ps: still haven't discovered how to put songs in this blog. Can anyone teach me? Heh. By the way I've changed the audio clip. It's a great cover version by Clay Aiken, whom I think should have won American Idol 2. =p

as usual, lovely pics :) i especially like the last three, special mention for the kids' photo. it's just so happy... and as for the sunrises... well, nothing can beat sunrises, anywhere in the world.
nice boots btw ;)
PS if you could give your email, i'll be glad to help you out. i would have just give you the code for inserting the songs, but i'm afraid it won't show up properly in this comment box.
great photos, cant comment much... odf to KL the to pakistan tomorrow... today on call. take care and study hard..... good to know u adapt well.
love to u and sarah
Whoa, Sofi..the sunrise pictures are awesome! Sunrise is meaningful moment for me.
Your pictures are getting more interesting here.
The pigeon and the sparrow is good.
Kids eating icecream is even better but need cropping on both side.
Stylish russian ladies is good but will be better if I can get a zoom. Can`t tell even if Amy Search is among them.
Sunrise is very beautiful but my favourite is the sky colour of pic number 2. I`m trying to imagine the statue of mother russia with this sky colour as background or just one single tree. For example, can you demolish the building leaving the tree? Adjust Sky and land proportion 50-50.
You should ask for a Nikon d50.
I dont think you are too successful at taming the birds. The pigeon has that obvious "flight-taking-off" look.
I love your number:2 and 5 though.
So Pycno, what do you think of the girls? How is their fashion sense? No riot of colors here I presume?
I am not too sure if the one in red boots is a 'she' or a 'he'
Guess my comment for now is just: hehehehehehe......
Pycno lebih suka "gadis Melayu yang menawan, menarik hati dan sungguh-sungguh memikat.........." I'm sure even Paul Moss will agree with me on this one !!
hey safiyah! It's been a while since we sms-ed/spoke/seen each other! And voila.. you're in Russia! Gosh. Seems like you're enjoying yourself there & have settled in pretty well! I just dropped by to say HI and all the best in all your undertakings! Take care. KIT.
I like the color of the sky as well in your no 2 pic
sofi :) good pics for a good start (err, sorry, start might not be the right word.. hehe)
hey, u left m'sia for russia WITHOUT telling me (sorry again gal, i didnt mean to shout..) but really, how could you! seems like erfa doesnt know about this too.
nonetheless, ramadhan karim sis. take care! i sure do miss ya here.
Pycnogenol,
Menawan is the sincerity, menarik is the warmth, memikat hati is the budi bahasa. Now and then I notice girls with these qualities among the educated chinese, indians, turkish, orang putih but unfortunately seldom malay who often lost on the budi and bahasa part. The age of the smooth talking gadis melayu is slowly ending I think. Will anyone miss it?
Sofi is back from her reverie. Lol. Love ALL your pics. Take care. =)
Thanks all for the comments. Crimsonskye, my email is thescientist02@yahoo.com. would very much appreciate your help =) And Farah, Sorry, I thought you knew. And Erfa sure did know bout me going. Why, she told you she didn't?
Assalamualaikum..
Ifos, I've said this once but I'm gonna say it again.. The pictures you took are absolutely breathtaking!
Wow...you can see the train passing from your bedroom window? All I can see is the haze. And the once-in-a-blue-moon sunset.
But like always, gotta love your pictures =)
